We had our Open House last week on Friday and Saturday. It was certainly a lot of fun and a great success. We cooked lots of food and hundreds of people showed up to eat it and haul off flowers.
In this blog post, I want to share some of the memories from Open House. If you missed this one, I hope you will see that it’s definitely worth marking your calendar for it next year. (Hint, hint.)

More vehicles in the parking lot during open house than ever before. One time I counted and there were about 35!

Homemade donuts.

The food stand.

Oh… indescribable!

Marlin and I grilling sausage on the BBQ42 Chicken Cooker.

Smoked ribs we cooked on my Meadow Creek Offset Smoker.

Grilled chicken wings on the Meadow Creek BBQ42 Chicken Cooker.

Marlin’s cool popcorn popper.

I hope you enjoyed the photos.
Tomorrow (Saturday before Mother’s Day) will probably be a very busy day as lots of people come out to buy flowers for their mothers. If you have your heart set on a certain kind of hanging basket or plant, come get it as soon as you can. We are getting low on some items and when they’re gone, they’re gone for the season.
Enjoy the beauty,
Lavern Gingerich
PS. If you came out for the Open House, I’d like to thank you for making it a “beautiful” success. Hope to see you again soon.

Every year your Open House gets better and better!! Can’t wait to use my “secret deals” rewards on even more of your healthy, beautiful plants!! Maybe some blueberries or knock-out roses… or herbs – I need some of those!! Looking forward to making salsa from the tomatoes, sweet & HOT peppers (Love those little chiltipins)! Great selection, good prices, & personalized service! Cannot beat the combination!! Thank YOU all for being a WONDERFUL, local alternative to the “big box” stores!!

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics from the special day, and glad it was successful. Everyone I have referred so far cannot get over your beautiful flowers. They sell themselves. The donuts and ribs made me drool just looking at the pics. Sorry I didn’t make it this time, but hope to be back there in the not too distant future.
